Pirate Scotland x Reader- Chapter 10
"Lass, wake up. Come on wake up!", Allistor was trying to wake you up, nudging your shoulder to wake you up. You opened one eye, looked at him then turned your back to him and tried to fall back asleep. With slight irritation, the Scotsman pulled you right off the seat,"Gah! Hey!", you glared up at him with sleepy eyes.

Allistor smiled, "Well now! Mornin' Miss Grumpy! Glad ya' can finally wake up!" He started to laugh and your threw your boot at him."Shut up! I was enjoying my sleep until you came around!"
"Hey!" He was quick to dodge the incoming boot,"I woke ya' up because we're almost to our destination! I thought ya might wanted t' know," You blinked and lowered your arm, which had the other boot ready to be thrown. "Really?"

He smirked, "The Cheshire is quite fast, ___. It made this trip faster then expected and made me quite 'appy because I'm one step closer t' my treasure."

You sighed then grabbed your other boot and started to put them on, fixing your hair after. "I have a question, Al..."He was over at his desk looking at the map as you spoke, "Yea? What is it?" You got up and looked up at him, "What are you planning on doing after all of this is over? After you find that treasure and our deal is met...?" Allistor looked up at you with a puzzled look,That got his attention,you thought.

"Ya know...I'm not really sure yet. I know I'm goin' t' take a break for awhile, maybe go t' the Caribbean or somethin'." He answered, rubbing the back of his head.

You lowered your eyes a bit, "oh...well you should figure something out soon then." You headed for the door and he grabbed you by the wrist to stop you. "Wait,___, I have a question for ya too." You looked back at him, 'What is it?" He let go of your wrist,"Why 'ave ya' been actin' so weird lately? It seems like whenever I get t' talk t' ya, ya talk then suddenly stop and try t' change the subject. Why is that?" You bite your lip and looked away,damn, I knew he was going to ask eventually...well I got two choices; tell him the truth or tell him another silly lie.... You didn't look back at him, "It's....it's hard to tell you right now...I just don't think I should bother you with it."

He sighed and pulled you closer to him, then he did something that hasn't happened before. Allistor hugged you close, "Yer a strange one,___, but yer also an interestin' one."Your eyes widened and you started to blush. "and ya' wanna know somethin'?"

"Wh-what?" You mentally cursed yourself for stuttering.

He lifted your chin up so you were face to face with him, "I may sound like some bloody fool right now, but I want t' let ya' know I fancy ya'." Your eyes widened in surprise, "I'm not lyin' when I say that so don't take it as some joke. Yer a hard headed, loudmouth lass but I admire yer fiery spirit, Miss __." You finally found your voice and spoke up, "I...I didn't know I made such an impact on you...I.." You blushed even more, "I...I fancy you too Allistor..."

"Oh? Is that true?"He asked and you nodded. "I don't lie, Allistor. You may be such a pain in the ass at times but I still fell in love with you. I don't know how but I just di-" Allistor interrupted you with a soft kiss. You pulled back, hiding your face from the fact that you were as red as a tomato, and he just chuckled and hugged you. "Ya talk too much, love." You playfully punched him and hugged back, feeling like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You kissed the Scottish man again and giggled at the small blush rising on his face. You both agreed not to let anyone know about this till after all of this was over. Once you both left the office, it remained that you were just part of the crew and he was your captain.

The bright morning sun shone brightly across the sea, making its dark blue waters almost crystal clear. You looked ahead and saw a large island coming up, making you excited to see what was over there.
"We're almost there! Hurry up and get those sails up! Secure the cargo!" Allistor quickly jumped to giving orders. "Stop starin' int' space, lass, and get t' work!" You snapped back to reality, "Y-yes sir!" You quickly went to work cleaning and helping out with moving crates around the ship. Within 2 hours, you made it close to the island.

"Ross,you and those three are with me!"Allistor pointed ot his first mate and the group he was talking to, then he turned to you."Lass,yer stayin' 'ere and keep an eye on the ship because I know the rest of these sea rats won't."

You shook your head."No! I want to come with you!"

Allistor raised a hand to you,"No,ya' can't fight and yer just goin' t' be in the way.I want t' get me' treasure and get out.It will only take a few hours, so stay put, got it?"

"Yes,captain."You pouted but followed his orders.He smiled and patted your head then hopped into the small sailboat with Ross and their group and was gone heading to the island. You watched them go then headed into the office and relax. You decided to take a nap, since you practically had a day off till the captain got back.You woke up to the sounds of the crew yelling and calling out to each other, so you got up to see what was all the commotion.When you opened the door you saw men running back and forth, yelling something about "we have to wait for the capt'n" and "there's no time!". Confused,you looked around the ship then was face to face with large black sails and a ship that was twice as big as the Cheshire."What's going on? Whose ship is that?" You yelled at nearby crewmates and they looked at you like you were stupid.

"You don't know,lass?"One asked.

You shook your head 'no' and they answered."That is the bloody Captain Evan's ship and by the looks of it 'e is after the same thing the capt'n is after.best bet for you is t' stay hidden for now, lass, go on! I'll tell the capt'n where you went."The crewmate pushed you away and you quickly ran down to the lower deck and hid your self in the cargo.You hugged your knees and did your best to tune out the yelling from the upper deck.Allistor...please hurry up...!
